Cherry blossoms in Toronto

With big sister Kim during my last visit to Canada in 2010, enjoying the cherry blossoms in full bloom at High Park in Toronto. According to Maya, a friend from Japan who now lives in Toronto, the Canadian version of the time-honored Japanese tradition of hanami (blossom-viewing) involves Tim Horton’s coffee and donuts instead of beer and bento lunchboxes.
